Let’s all give a huge round of applause to our very own Tan Wei Khang from 11T, who has emerged as the champion of MSSD Chess Championship 2023!

Tan Wei Khang has displayed an exceptional skill and thus winning an impressive 7 out of 8 rounds and securing a draw in one. That being said, he is now qualified to join MSSS Chess Championship 2023 from 21st to 24th of August, 2023. Woohoo! All the best, Wei Khang!

In the overall standings, Wei Khang proudly stands at 1st place out of 148 participants. This remarkable achievement reflects his dedication and exceptional talent.

Let’s also acknowledge the efforts of his teammates, Hairee Huah from 10T (69th out of 148) and Ow Zhi Shen from 11T (102nd out of 148), who contributed significantly to MINDRICH’s outstanding performance. Together, they secured an impressive 10th position out of 50 in the U-18 category.

This marks an incredible milestone for MINDRICH, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to everyone involved! Let’s continue to soar higher and achieve greater heights together!
